Demolished Van

On Friday, September 5th, I was involved in an accident on my way to pick up my daughter from school. As you will see from the photo's of my vehicle it was not pretty. God protected my life, the other driver, and my family as I was the only person in the van that day. Praise God for His mighty protection, grace, and mercy!





* These photos were not taken at the accident scene, but at the wrecker yard where the van is being stored. I took these photos one week after the accident, which was the first time I had seen the van since I got out of it after the accident.

Katherine's Birthday Celebrations

On Saturday, August 9th, Katherine Grace Kenney turned six! We celebrated at the lake with Grandpa Roy, Grandma Faye, Uncle Billy, and Uncle Dean.





A couple Saturdays later we had a party at our house with about 10 of her friends. They enjoyed cupcakes, swimming, and playing on the water slide.

Six Flags Fun

Katherine earned a free ticket to a Six Flags amusement park last spring in kindergarten for reading over six hours at home. On Tuesday, August 5th, Katherine and I met Dean and Diane at Six Flags Over Texas.
